Today we...

Today we visited the MLK historic site. You know, the Ebenezer Baptist Church, his birth home and home-home for the first 12 years of his life, his and Coretta's tomb, and the eternal flame. I think the most intense part of that experience was sitting in the original Ebenezer Baptist Church and Martin's sermons would play through the speakers and if you closed your eyes and listened, you can just imagine MLK standing there. It was a moving experience that nearly brought me to tears. I think we forget that our greatest heroes are people too.
