Today we went to the lunch counter simulation and it was horrible. I could barely take it and I realized people were way braver to start the movements. I have always known about the civil rights movement and
the brave people who were a part of it, but when I did the simulation my whole body tensed up, I was shaky and my chest hurt for a couple of hours after. I think today doing the simulation I really knew the bravery people had in the movement.
