Day two of many, today was a lot more productive than yesterday and I am starting to have fun. Today in Atlanta was very emotional for some of us but more of a reflection for me. Since my mom was born around the time of the height of the Civil Rights Movement, I wonder if she has faced any adversity as a child. Given that she is the youngest out of her siblings, I wonder if they have faced some adversity when they were younger as well. It definitely makes me want to pry the answers to my questions out of my mother when I go back home. I can't wait to see what day three will bring.
