Chills

I sat at the lunch counter exhibit where you put on headphones and hear the racial slurs that spread chills down my back. I sat on a chair that was being pushed and shoved like I was nothing.  I could hear white men yell "I'm a put my fork in your neck boy" into my ear. You could hear glass being thrown around the room. My body flinched every time my chair would thud. This is what A&T four went through and more. This day has made me sad and disappointed in our history. I am glad that different races and genders can come together and fight as one.
