Today We...

Today was a very interesting day as for the first time in a long time I have woken up before 5 in the morning. It was also very emotional and very informative. The information that we learned at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum was nothing that I had not heard before, but the reality of it all does not hit you until you are in the space that these events happened in. It made me angry and sad and overwhelmed. My question from today would be why was and still is melanin such a threat to our society?
